Spicy OMNI Pork Chili

Ingredients

  • Olive Oil, 2 Tbsp

  • Yellow Onion (diced), 1

  • Garlic (minced), 3 cloves

  • OMNI Ground (defrosted), 1 pack

  • Salt, 1 tsp

  • Pepper, 1/2 tsp

  • Chili Powder, 3 Tbsps

  • Dried Oregano, 1 tsp

  • Cumin, 1 tsp

  • Smoked Paprika, 1 tsp

  • Cayenne, 3/4 tsp

  • Fire-roasted Crushed Tomatoes (with juice), 1 can: 800g

  • Water, 1 cup

  • Kidney Beans (drained), 1 can: 425g

  • Black Beans (drained), 1 can: 425g

  • Seasoning
  • Sliced Jalapeños, a handful

  • Sliced Red Onion, a handful

  • Chopped Cilantro, a handful

Steps

  • In a large pot over medium heat, warm oil. Add onion and garlic, and sauté for five minutes.
  • Add OMNI Ground, salt, pepper, chili powder, oregano, cumin, paprika, and cayenne. Using a wooden spoon, break up the OMNI Gound into pieces. Sauté for another five minutes.
  • Add tomatoes, water, kidney beans, and black beans. Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low, and simmer uncovered for 20 minutes.
  • Ladle chili into bowls, garnish with toppings, and enjoy!
