Creamy Cashew and Spiced Ground “Pork” Mac and Cheese

This creamy cashew mac and cheese topped with OMNI Ground is exactly what you want to snuggle up to on a chilly day. Packed with extra protein, iron, and calcium from the OMNI Ground, this plant-based mac and cheese is sure to keep you happily satiated through these cold months!


  • Macaroni

  • 1 pack OMNI Ground (find your closest store & get a coupon via the link below)

  • Olive Oil

  • For the cashew cream sauce
  • 1.5 cups of cashews (soaked in water a couple of hours in advance, or boil them for five minutes)

  • 2 cups water

  • 1/2 cup of nutritional yeast

  • 1/4 tsp turmeric

  • 1/4 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder

  • pinch of oregano

  • lemon juice from half a lemon

  • 1 bag (8 oz) of vegan cheddar cheese


  • Blend all the cashew cream sauce ingredients in a food processor on high.
  • Cook a 14 oz bag of macaroni according to instructions.
  • While cooking macaroni, drizzle some olive oil and sauté two packs of OMNI Ground until lightly browned and crispy.
  • Fold half of the cooked OMNI Ground into the mac along with the creamy cashew sauce. Sprinkle the rest of the OMNI Ground over your bowl of mac and cheese, along with an optional garnish of bread crumbs and parsley. Enjoy!
